Pirtek Fishing Challenge

The Pirtek Fishing Challenge is an Australia-wide competition, run to raise funds for Prostate Cancer research.

With a prize pool worth over $110,000, the competition attracts thousands of amateur anglers from across Australia. After paying an entry fee via a customised shopping cart, which links to PayPal, anglers upload a photograph of their catch to the web site.

The web site also features a photo gallery and video content, as well and general information and ‘news flashes’.

This site was re-built for primary sponsor Pirtek, as a replacement for their original Joomla-based site. It features its own CSS-based WordPress theme, plus customised payment plugins, photo upload pages and ‘back-end’ features such as on-demand reporting and a bulk email facility.
